The Rock Cottage Gardens B&B Inn is your one stop shop for a memorable wedding, vow renewal or other anniversary celebration. We can provide everything from the wedding ceremony in our Gardener's Chapel, your custom wedding cake baked and decorated here in our main house bakery and a full hot or cold buffet or seated reception dinner. Our main cottage house will comfortably seat up to 25 people inside or on the garden grounds. The gardens make a perfect place for your guests to mingle, visit and enjoy the celebration events of your special day. Our chapel is perfect for a small wedding and our patios and floral covered arbors make the perfect setting for a larger outside ceremony. Cake and punch outside in the gardens is a lovely way to wrap up the occasion! If you are also lodging with us, discounts on your lodging combined with a reception are available.
Beginning in 2012, if you are not lodging with us, a nominal fee of $250 for hosting a one (1) hour reception in the main house will apply and a $100 fee will apply for a chapel reception for up to 15 guests. These fees cover the set up preparation, event coordination and clean up costs. Food and beverage costs are additional to the property use fee. To ensure the proper flow and level of service, I hire one server assistant for each 10 guests in attendance.
Pricing for reception and food buffet is available based on the type, length and size of your reception and by the per person guest count:
- Option I: Cake & Wedding Punch, mints, nuts, sparkling cider or champagne toast: 1 hour reception (Typical Pricing ranges $5.75 - $7.25 pp. depending up on food selection and market pricing.)
- Option II: Cake, Punch, mints, nuts and cold and hot h’dourves (fruit & cheese trays, mini sandwiches, finger foods) – 2 hour reception (Typical Pricing ranges $9.50 - $13 pp depending up on food selection and market pricing.)
- Option III: Cake, Punch, mints, nuts, cold & hot h’dourves (as above) and 2 or 3 hot entrée items and sides. ( Typical Pricing ranges $18 – $30 pp depending up on food selection and market pricing. .)
If you are lodging with us, the main house can be made available for a small 1 hour reception for a nominal $100, non lodgers $250. The house can accommodate 20 people comfortably. Larger parties suitable for outdoor receptions in good weather are limited to 25 guests.
