Highly Recommended(7/11/2011) - NEW
As we drove into the parking lot, we thought we had entered a movie set. The grounds with the small rock cottages scattered around were in full flower and impressed us immediately. We enjoyed the intense privacy of having our own small cottage. We were right on the shuttle route, which is the best way to see Eureka Springs. The service was complete with no intrusion at all. There is a new fountain in the grounds. We will stay here for certain if we return to Eureka Springs. The only reason we wouldn't return to Eureka Springs is the abundance of places we want to visit.
World Class Bed & Breakfast(7/9/2011) - NEW
We've stayed in the best historical properties from Jefferson, Texas to Richmond, Virginia, and Rock Garden Cottages ranks right up there with the best of them. We always seek out B&B's with a historical significance, and the Rock Garden Cottages are the oldest remaining motor court Eureka Springs. This is a charming facility, and the innkeeper (Kathy) has done an outstanding job of providing a first-class accommodation while still retaining the Americana charm of the original motor courts. We found nothing else in Eureka Springs that compares. Now on to the food! As experienced B&B guests, we've seen everything from day-old doughnuts with imitation orange drink all the way up to five-star meals during our travels. The breakfast at Rock Garden Cottages was at the high end of this scale... not only plenty of food, but a delectable selection of items ranging from traditional to fancy. We were so impressed with the presentation, we even took a picture of our meals before we devoured it! Summary... if you're a sophisticated enough traveler to know and understand what B&B's are all about, you'll be very impressed with the Rock Garden Cottages. If you're the kind that likes to arrive at your hotel after dark and then expect breakfast before you leave at sunup, you're better off at the Super 8.

Outstanding Anniversary Weekend(6/18/2011)
My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at the RCG and we couldn't have picked a better place. The cottage was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. The location couldn't have been better as it was a very short walk from a trolley stop. We parked our car and rode the trolleys everywhere for the weekend. As nice as the cottage was, the breakfasts were even better. From the fruit, bacon, sausage, berry filled French toast, to quiches and casseroles, everything we were served was delightful. On our last morning, we were used as guinea pigs to be the first to taste a new Mexican flavored casserole and it was outstanding. The innkeeper, Kathy, did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable and she succeeded well beyond our expectations. We will definitely return for another visit.

Peaceful, cosy magic. The service was informal and exceptionally welcoming. The cottages are perfectly hidden away while being a short walk from all the wonders of Eureka Springs. The bed is THE most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in...I didn't want to wake up, but I'm glad I did because the breakfast was worth the stay alone! Delicious! Ideal for, but not exclusively, a romantic retreat. Definitely visiting again really soon. p>

As far as we ar concerned, this is the ONLY Bed and Breakfast in Eurika Springs! Our cottage was warm and inviting and the breakfasts were delicious. But what made it so special was the way my wife and I were pampered there! Every effort was made to ensure we had the most enjoyable experience possible during our stay! Thank you!

My husband and I celebrated our 15th anniversary here. We can't wait to go back. Our cottage (Crystal cottage) was beautiful, the grounds are beautiful and the breakfasts were exceptional. This place absolutely exceeded our expectations. We love privacy and Rock Cottage gave us that with the bonus of being close to anything and everything that we wanted to do in Eureka. Our hostess was extremely helpful in letting us know what we would enjoy in town and went above and beyond in making us comfortable.

If you are looking for a cozy place to stay in Eureka Springs that is very close the historic areas of town to visit then stop and stay at the Rock Cottage B&B. The location is excellent as it lies right off of hwy 62 and it on the "red line" where the trolley makes regular routes through. It's within walking distance to much of the historic downtown area but close enough to the main artery of hwy 62 and doesn't require some of the more harrowing driving down steep, narrow goat trails like some of the other B & Bs. The hostess/owner is a great cook, very hospitable, and a wonderful person to generally talk to. You'll love the breafast she'll prepare for you! You'll find the rooms are quaint and very warm and inviting and that a great deal of time and effort was spent renovating the cottages for guests. One can really tell that this is a B&B that is working hard to reestablish its connection to the Eureka Springs area and does in the proper manner: with authentic interest in its guests.
Outstanding B&B with Dynamite Host (5/13/2011)
This unique B&B offers private cabins for the first B (bed) and wonderful, slightly different and tasty food for the second B (breakfast). The host is gracious, friendly and, yet, unobtrusive. You will have all the privacy you desire in your cabin (no common walls) and can wander the beautiful grounds while listening to the fountains. Great location on the trolley line - so we did not drive at all after arrival. There is also a chapel for those wishing to marry on the property.
Romantic & Serene(5/10/2011)
My husband and I traveled to Eureka Springs for our 9th anniversary. We've stayed at Rock Cottage Gardens on four previous visits, but this was our first trip with Kathy and Steve as our innkeepers. The accomodations were wonderful, as usual, but the food was by far the best we've ever had. Kathy went above and beyond in accomodating our food preferences.
Great Rooms, Excellent Food, Outstanding hospitality (5/08/2011)
Rock Garden Cottages was a wonderful place to stay. We had a short weekend to get away for our anniversary and found the Rock Garden Cottages to exceed our expectations. We stayed in the Crystal Cabin which was so very cozy and comfortable. Each morning Kathy, the owner, served an outstanding gormet breakfast and provided the best homemade sweet breads on the buffet all day! I cannot recall when I had a breakfast that came close to what she did.
I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Eureka Springs. I wouldn't plan to stay anywhere else.
Best B&B that we have stayed at (4/24/2011)
Kathy has done a wonderful job with making this B&B like a 5 star hotel stay. Her cooking is fabulous! We've never been fed so well! She even provides vegetarian meals! Her customer service and the little things like high end bath robes, bath salts, wine glasses, fireplace and candles for a romantic soak in the jacuzi tub in the cottage room is outstanding! And I only got out of the amazing feather top bed for the delicious breakfast!
Must Stay Here!! (4/17/2011)
This was my first time at a B&B. My fiance and I were getting married and wanted a place that seemed cozy and friendly. All of our communication was done by phone and email. Needless to say it went beyond our expectations!! She also hosted our reception which to my fault she found out 4 hrs prior to the time but made it seem effortless. The breakfast was to die for something for everyone! Kathy made this stay above and beyond!! Cant wait to go back!

Kathy (the proprietor) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend without any hesitation. We'll be back for certain.

Rock Cottage Gardens is better than ever! Kathy is the new proprietor and she is amazing. Great service and the breakfast every morning was absolutely the best!!!!! We are both vegetarians and she accomodated with great tasting food. Kathy made sure all of our requests were met right away. The cottage is very romantic and sweet. It was very clean and comfortable. It has a big jacuzzi for two that was heavenly. We love it there at Rock Cottage Gardens and are going back as soon as we can. :)
A great little get away (2/25/2011)
My wife and I only had a few days to get away after a very busy start to the year. This was a perfect trip and exactly what we needed. Eureka Springs is a charming little town and the Rock Cottage Gardens fit in perfectly. We will be booking another weekend stay this spring!

I searched the web for the perfect place to celebrate our 15 yr anniversary- finally decided on Rock Cottage Gardens. Perfect. You get your own cottage with cobblestone path and outdoor sitting area. Jacuzzi tub, comfortable bed, quaint decorations, coffee waiting outside the door when we woke up, WONDERFUL food and EXCELLENT owners who were very helpful. Can eat small breakfast in your cottage or go to the main house for full meal. I would recommend the meal! I am a picky eater (no meat, organic) but was very pleased with the menu. I can't say enough about the great experience we had. First time to Eureka Springs, didn't know what to expect but it was relaxing, and everything we wanted. Rock Cottage Gardens is in a great location. We would walk to dinner, also loved the Crecent Hotel ghost tour and gardens but would not stay there (OLD and run down rooms) but a blast to visit! Stay at the Rock Cottage Gardens....you won't be disappointed! Walked a lot and saw all of the other b&b's....so glad we picked this one!

My friend who loves b & b had stayed at Rock Cottage for an anniversary and recommended to me that we should check it out for our anniversary. We are both foodies with a passion for New Orleans foods. My husband and I enjoyed our stay so very much Kathy is a most considerate hostess and such a pleasure to know and chat with. And our breakfast was a gourmet delight. There was so very much to choose from and it was all superb. Kathy could not do enough for you and she has put much thought into arranging her beautifully appointed rooms. Especially loved the beautiful enclosed fireplace which added romance to the room. Can't wait to return and have no desire to check out any other b & b in the Eureka Springs area.
