As a cherished guest, we wish to ensure your stay is as peaceful and memorable as our lush gardens themselves. To that end, understanding our property policies, alongside state regulations, is important for a harmonious visit.

To preserve the historic integrity of our charming property and ensure the pristine comfort of all our guests, Rock Cottage Gardens maintains a strict and unwavering smoke-free policy throughout all indoor areas.

Smoking of ANYTHING is expressly prohibited within any of our individual cottages, the main house, or any other enclosed common areas on the property. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, pipes)
• Cannabis (marijuana, in any form)

We kindly ask for your understanding and full cooperation with this essential policy. Violation of our smoke-free policy will result in a minimum cleaning and remediation fee of $1,000.00 assessed to the guest's account.

While our property policy governs activity on our grounds, it's also important to be aware of the state laws regarding marijuana, which apply to all of Eureka Springs.

• Recreational Use Remains Illegal: In Arkansas, including our beloved Eureka Springs, recreational marijuana use is not permitted under state law. This applies to all individuals, regardless of local sentiment.
• Medical Marijuana: For Qualifying Patients Only: If you are a qualifying patient with an Arkansas-issued medical marijuana card, you are permitted to possess and use cannabis under specific state guidelines.
  
  • On Private Property: While Arkansas law allows medical cannabis to be consumed in private residences, private establishments like Rock Cottage Gardens B&B reserve the absolute right to prohibit its use on their premises, especially smoking, to protect the property and the experience of all guests.
  • Prohibited Public Use: Even for medical cardholders, using marijuana in public places (such as parks, restaurants, or government buildings) is strictly prohibited by Arkansas law. You also cannot operate any vehicle while under the influence.
  • No Home Cultivation: Growing your own medical marijuana is not permitted in Arkansas; it must be purchased from a licensed state dispensary.
• Consequences of Non-Compliance: Disregarding Arkansas's marijuana laws can lead to significant legal penalties, ranging from fines to imprisonment, even for small amounts.
